WASTE TONER STORAGE VESSEL AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner storage vessel capable of discharging toner efficiently even if the waste toner adheres firmly and preventing the waste toner from being scattered around the vessel. SOLUTION: The waste toner storage vessel 100 includes a substantially cylindrical body part 101, a discharge part 103 having smaller diameter than diameter of the body part 101 connected through an slope 102 sloped smoothly from an end face of the body part 101, a bottom 105 on the reverse side to the slope 102 and the discharge part 103, a shaft 110 passing through from the bottom 105 to the discharge part 103, a spiral screw member 112 provided to be wound around the shaft 110, and a gear 111 provided on the shaft 110.
