Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body controller for preventing an opening/closing body and an obstacle from being brought into contact with each other. SOLUTION: This opening/closing body controller includes an electronic control unit 20 for controlling the opening and closing of a tail gate according to predetermined operations and a camera 6 for photographing the movable range of the tail gate. The camera 6 photographs, as a first image, the movable range immediately after the tail gate is opened to the opening position, and photographs, as a second image, the movable range immediately after the predetermined operation for closing the tail gate is performed. An electronic control unit 20 compares the first image with the second image, and when a difference is detected between both images, prohibits the closing operation of the tail gate.
