PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING FOLIC ACID, AND RELATED METHOD AND DELIVERY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for delivering folic acid to a subject suffered from or having a high risk of becoming to be suffered from a disease treatable by the folic acid. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition is provided by containing (a) a hormone supplement composition for treating or preventing post menopausal diseases in the subject and (b) a sufficient amount of the folic acid for treating or preventing the diseases (i) suffering the subject directed with a high hormone supplement composition at a higher event rate than usual and (ii) capable of being treated or prevented by the administration of the folic acid. Further, the pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing uterine cervix part malformation, uterine cervix carcinoma or cardiovascular diseases is provided by containing the folic acid as an active ingredient.
