Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric material which contains no lead being a harmful material, which is environmentally friendly and which includes excellent piezoelectric characteristics. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric material is expressed by general formula (1): (1-x)BiFeO3-xBaTiO3, (where 0.70≤x≤0.90). The piezoelectric material is excellent in all of that (1) the piezoelectric constant is large, (2) the displacement to an electric field exhibits linearity and (3) the Curie point is high temperature, which are main characteristics required for the piezoelectric material.
