Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a shock absorption performance by effectively utilizing a structure for locking a steering wheel. SOLUTION: A movable tube A, which telescopically connects an upper shaft 2 and a lower shaft 3 in an axial direction X and is telescopically moved together with the upper shaft 2, is constituted so as to be movable in a telescopic adjustment area E and a lock area F. The movable tube A includes a shock absorption structure in which the outer tube 8 is frictionally fitted to the inner tube 7, and has a turning lock mechanism L arranged at a lower side of a construction direction of the inner tube 7.
