Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for liquids containing sticky sludge which can easily remove sticky sludge by backwashing deposited during filtering and perform continuous filtration process without causing mesh clogging. SOLUTION: This filter 10 for liquids containing sticky sludge includes a plurality of filter elements 14, each having a smooth surface of a porous plate with the smooth surface, serving as a primary side filtering surface, into which the liquid to be filtered flows, and a casing 13 incorporating the filter element 14. The filter element 14 is installed in proximity to another filter element up to a position which allows removing of sticky sludge deposited on the primary side filtering surface by a back wash flow ejected from the primary side filtering surface of the other filter element during backwashing.
