MOTOR DRIVE CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive controller capable of safely rotatingly driving a motor. SOLUTION: The motor drive controller 1 includes a converter 3, an inverter 4, an inverter micro-computer 7 and a converter micro-computer 8. The converter 3 converts power supply current Im to direct current. The inverter 4 is supplied with the direct current from the converter 3 and supplies drive voltages SU, SV, SW to a motor 51. The inverter micro-computer 7 drive-controls the inverter 4. The converter micro-computer 8 drive-controls the converter 3, and when an abnormal condition is satisfied for determining that the output of the drive voltages SU, SV, SW in the inverter 4 should be forcibly stopped, the converter micro-computer outputs to the inverter micro-computer 7 a second output forcible stop signal SG to stop the output of the drive voltages SU, SV, SW.
