Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproduction system capable of reproducing rear audio data without using any speakers to be disposed behind a viewing position. SOLUTION: The rear audio data included in multichannel audio data are transmitted to sink equipment disposed at the rear of a viewing position from an audio processing unit. The sink equipment has a speaker for the sink equipment, thus reproducing the received rear audio data from the speaker for the sink equipment, and hence reproducing the rear audio data without separately disposing any speakers behind the viewing position.
