Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a hot water storage type water heater in which since a hot water storage tank is regularly filled with water, the water in the hot water storage tank cannot be discharged unless daily use of hot water is stopped, and even if the use is stopped to discharge the water, it is extremely troublesome for an owner of the water heater to perform maintenance such as disassembling and cleaning of the inside of the hot water storage tank. SOLUTION: This water heater includes a water supply pipe connected to a lower portion of the hot water storage tank to supply tap water to the hot water storage tank, and a micro-bubble generator provided in the water supply pipe to generate micro-bubbles in the tap water flowing in the water supply pipe, and the micro-bubbles generated by the generator are supplied into the hot water storage tank.
