SOLUTION: In the swash plate type variable displacement compressor including the swash plate boss part for making a swash plate contact the drive shaft movably in an axial direction, a shape of an inner surface facing the drive shaft of the swash plate boss part is formed in such a manner that a contact point of the contact part on the drive shaft of the swash plate boss part changes in the axial direction of the swash plate by two or more points according to change of the swash plate inclination angle.
