SCREEN DUST REMOVING SYSTEM AND SCREEN DUST REMOVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen dust removing system and a screen dust removing method capable of performing quickly and natural nature-friendly removal work from a screen by a simple structure and a simple operation. SOLUTION: A screen installed at an intake 100 is configured in such a manner that slits 16 generally horizontally extending to the outside of at least the river side thereof are present at predetermined intervals. A flowing dirt scraping means 24 is moved by a drive means 30 along the slits 16 of the horizontal screen 10 in the horizontal direction. In this case, the projecting end 24b of the flowing dirt scraping means 24 is intruded a predetermined length between the slits 16. The flowing dirt caught by the screen 10 is scraped out by the movement of the drive means 30, and flows to the downstream side of the river.
