Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing metal parts excellent in each following characteristic by coating a surface of a base material composed of an aluminum alloy such as a high-silicon aluminum alloy with an anodic oxide film not having aggressiveness against a mating member, for example one end of a rotor shaft or the like, because it has excellent surface smoothness, and also having excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: The base material is used as an anode, and in a state where it is immersed in an electrolyte together with a cathode, the current density of a current applied between both the anode and the cathode is increased from an initial current density of 0 A/dm2to a prescribed value at a rate of ≤0.35 A/dm2per minute, and then the base material is anodized while the prescribed current density is maintained so as to coat a surface of the base material with an anodic oxide film.
