MUSCLE HARDNESS MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT AND SEAT FOR SITTING WITH MUSCLE HARDNESS MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle hardness measurement instrument and a seat for a vehicle having the muscle hardness measurement instrument for measuring the muscle hardness with high accuracy and less error by using of the pressing amount according to the thickness of subcutaneous fat of a test subject. SOLUTION: The muscle hardness measurement instrument 10 for measuring the muscle hardness by pressing the muscle of the test subject includes a condition setting means 32 for setting predetermined conditions for calculating the thickness of subcutaneous fat of the test subject, a subcutaneous fat calculating means 34 for calculating the subcutaneous fat by using conditions set by the condition setting means 32, a pressing amount calculating means 36 for calculating the pressing amount for pressing the measurement site of the muscle hardness of the test subject according to the subcutaneous fat obtained by the subcutaneous fat calculating means 34, and a muscle hardness measurement means 38 for measuring the muscle hardness by using the pressing amount obtained by the pressing amount calculating means 36 after pressing the measurement site to the object site for measuring the muscle hardness of the test subject.
