PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor for reconfiguring a color image signal wherein coloring generated at an edge of a moving portion in a subject is suppressed, from an image pickup signal captured by a logarithmic transform type solid-state imaging device including a plurality of types of color filters having different spectral characteristics. SOLUTION: The image processor reconfigures a color image signal from an image pickup signal outputted from a logarithmic transform type solid-state imaging device. The image processing apparatus includes: a time-sequential change arithmetic section 22 for calculating a time-sequential change amount for each of pixels of the image pickup signal; and a saturation adjusting section 25 for adjusting a saturation of the color image signal for each pixel on the basis of the time-sequential change amount, calculated by the arithmetic section, for each of pixels of the image pickup signal.
