Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of components while improving heat dissipation of a light emitting device 22. SOLUTION: The light emitting device 22 has a base 100, a frame member 200, and a light emitting element 300. The base 100 has an upper surface including a recess. The base 100 has a conductor pattern and a metal material pattern 109 provided on an inside side surface of the recess. The frame member 200 has a side surface 201 brought into thermal contact with the metal material pattern 109, and is provided on the base 100. The light emitting element 300 is disposed inside the frame member 200, and electrically connected to the conductor pattern.
