INFORMATION PROCESSOR AND AREA DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a drop destination area, even when the drop destination area is not displayed at the start of drag, without needing preliminary positional adjustment of the drop destination area by a user. SOLUTION: An information processor comprises a determination means which determines, when moving or copying information contained in a first area within a screen area to a second area within the screen area based on a drag operation through an input device, whether an area displayed overlapping forward the second area is present or not; and an area display control means which controls, when presence of the area displayed overlapping forward the second area is determined by the determination means, to display the second area at the front.
