IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND PRINTER DRIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, a communication system and a printer driver, allowing smooth information acquisition of an apparatus wherein communication environment to be connected is different. SOLUTION: In this communication system, when receiving input of an information acquisition instruction of the electric apparatus (S101), an information processing instruction is created, and is transmitted to the image forming apparatus according to a prescribed communication protocol (S102). When the image forming apparatus receives the information acquisition instruction (S103), the image forming apparatus decides whether the reception is reception by power line communication (S104), and reads information stored in a RAM (Random Access Memory) based on a decision result (S105, S106). The image forming apparatus transmits the information read from the RAM to an information processor having transmitted an information transmission instruction (S107).
