SHUTOFF SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consider convenience and secure safety even when equipment failure occurs. SOLUTION: When a setting means 16 is set by a system manager etc., an operation device 10 transmits failure determination information indicating the setting state to a shutoff valve unit 20 by a failure determination information transmitting means 11a. The shutoff valve unit 20 is operated by supply of electric power from the operation device 10, and based on a valve closing request signal received via a communication means 23, a drive control means 21a controls a drive means 27 to close a shutoff valve 26. The failure determination information acquired at any predetermined timing from the operation device 10 by a failure determination information acquiring means 21a2 is stored in a failure determination information storing means 22. When occurrence of failure corresponding to the failure determination information is detected by a failure occurrence detection means 21a3, the drive means 27 is controlled corresponding to at least one of shutoff operation or return operation indicated by the failure determination information corresponding to the failure detected by the failure occurrence detection means 21a3.
