Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve control device capable of preventing a specific valve from being worn out, and solving problems caused by stagnation of fuel and keeping effect of flow enhancement to perform improvement in fuel-economy and exhaust-gas reduction. SOLUTION: In the valve control device, an ECU19 operates each of actuators 9, thus, in the region of low to medium load, intake valves IV1, IV2, which are at rest throughout overall cycles, do not exist. Since fuel does not stagnate in the intake valves IV1, IV2, problems resulting from stagnation of the fuel do not happen. The intake valve IV1, or IV2 remains in a complete rest state without causing even a minute lift, and an in-cylinder flow is not disturbed by the intake valves IV1, or IV2, which are in open-close operations. Accordingly, effect of flow-enhancement is maintained to enable the improvement in fuel-economy and exhaust-gas reduction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
