GREENING PAVEMENT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening pavement unit, which allows a greening design provided with a vegetation part of the same size as a block, and is effective for block fixation at an edge of a block pavement part. SOLUTION: The pavement unit A used for greening pavement together with a pavement block G includes four outer walls 1 forming a hollow square, connecting plates 2 and 3 mutually connecting the opposed wall surfaces 1, a ribbed bottom plate 4 connected to the lower ends of the outer walls 1, a protruding piece 5 joined to the lower surface of the ribbed bottom plate 4 and protruded outwardly over the outer walls 1, and an engagement pin 6 suspended from the lower surface of the bottom plate 4. Since the pavement unit A is modularized so that the same width and depth as the pavement block G can be constituted, a greening pavement part having a vegetation part of the same size as the pavement block G can be formed by alternately laying the pavement unit A with the pavement block G. Since the adjacent pavement units A can be connected to each other by mutually engaging the protruding piece 5 and the engagement pin 6 thereof, the pavement unit A can be used also for a block stopper at an edge of a block pavement part.
