VEHICLE STABLE TRAVELING CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stability of a vehicle by blunting responsiveness of steering operation and blunting reaction on a vehicle side relative to unexpected action of a driver (rapid steering operation rarely seen at a usual time and phenomenon such as too much steering operation) even under the circumstance that lane deviation warning is output in a vehicle stable traveling control device. SOLUTION: A steering gear ratio variable device is provided with a calculation means for calculating a variation amount per a unit time of a steering angle detected by a steering angle detection means; and a reduction means for reducing a transmission ratio of a steering angle by steering operation and a turning angle of a steered wheel when the variation amount calculated by the calculation means is not less than a first set value.
