Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture detecting system of a robot hand capable of achieving reduction in a manufacturing cost by simplifying machine configuration, improvement of durability, and detection of its posture in any posture. SOLUTION: A band 8 is wound around an outer peripheral surface 2c of a finger 2 of the robot hand 1. A plurality of regions b1, b2, b3, ..., bn colored in different colors from one another are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the band 8. Hues of the colors of the respective regions b1 to bn are the same along a longitudinal direction of the finger 2, respectively. In addition, the hues of the respective regions b1 to bn continuously vary along a circumferential direction of the finger 2. A camera 7 for recording the finger 2 is provided at a predetermined distance from the robot hand 1. An image of the finger 2 recorded by the camera 7 is output to a control part 6. The control part 6 detects the posture of the robot hand 1 based on an edge of the band 8 and a change in the hues on the image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
