Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively support a designer so as to achieve more appropriate design change of a product required for removing an unground area. SOLUTION: When the unground area W is calculated by machining simulation, an arrangement range T of an end mill 10 for machining the unground area W is calculated (S63). In addition, the tool arrangement range T is divided into a grid state, and a machine-to-remove amount J of the area W machined by the end mill 10 having its center placed at each grid point and an interference amount K of the end mill 10 and an object to be interfered (44) are calculated for each of the grid points (S67). An area Y to be ground on the object (44) is calculated based on tool arrangement model information obtained by placing the center of the end mill 10 on the optimum grid point op where the machine-to-remove amount J is large and the interference amount K is small among the respective grid points (S73).
