SOLUTION: The mist generator MG1 has a plurality of collision wall parts 12 where liquid scattered from a rotor 2 collides, a gap of the plurality of collision wall parts 12 from each other is opened toward the periphery of a housing H housing the rotor 2, and the opening part is turned to a mist jetting port 13. On a part of the periphery of the plurality of collision wall parts 12, a mist shielding wall 18 for blocking the jetting of the mist to a part of the periphery of the housing H by shielding the mist jetted from the mist jetting port 13 or closing the mist jetting port 13 is provided.
