Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit capable of rotationally driving an electrostatic motor by sufficient driving force. SOLUTION: The drive circuit 100 for electrostatic motors drives an electrostatic motor as described below. A signal from an encoder attached to the electrostatic motor is processed at a control unit (microcomputer) 101. Its output is applied to the gates of switching transistors 107, 108 connected to the primary coils of flyback transformers 103, 104 to control the currents of the primary coils. The secondary coils of the flyback transformers 103, 104 are caused to produce high voltage. This voltage is applied to the electrodes 44B, 44A of the electrostatic motor through high-voltage diodes 113, 114 to charge them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
