Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning apparatus provided with a resolver type positioning sensor where accuracy in measurements is not affected by the joint of a motor stator core, its fixing structure, or the like. SOLUTION: This positioning apparatus has: a motor stator core that project a plurality of teeth as far as a confronting face to a slider; and the slider that is faced via a predetermined space with the confronting face and houses a motor core. The apparatus also has a resolver type positioning sensor which is mounted on the slider and is arranged at a predetermined distance from the confronting face and forms a magnetic circuit that passes magnetic flux only to teeth ends within the depth of the teeth from the above confronting face.
