OBJECT DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting a person, vehicle or an object left behind. SOLUTION: At the first frame, the background of a constant image composed of predetermining minimum thresholds is stored as the threshold of detection, with each subsequent frame, the background and threshold are corrected with formulas while performing the adaptation of a renewal-constant in each pixel corresponding to the presence/absence of the detected object, the difference between the current frame and background is calculated, the difference is compared with the threshold, elements exceeding another threshold are combined into detection zones, the detection zones is sieved, the zones are divided in order to separate shadows, a tracking zone is formed, already-detected segment of objects is searched, and clusters of the tracking zones are formed.
