RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE, RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible recording and reproducing technique, which facilitates use of a general language training program, or the like, as a teaching material, and allows repeated training of an optional part thereof. SOLUTION: The device includes a storage means which preliminarily stores model voice information and further stores recorded training voice information; a voice reproducing means; and a voice input means. When recording operation is performed, the device performs storage of training voice information input from the voice input means until stoppage of reproduction of model voice information, storage of a stopping position of the model voice information, and a specific reproduction operation are performed. When the specific reproduction operation is performed, the device stops the storage of training voice information; stops the reproduction of training voice information, after performing reproduction of the stored training voice information; and starts reproduction of the model voice information, from a position which goes back to a predetermined position from the stopping position of the model voice information.
