METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TONER, AND THE TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which obtains superior color tone and having superior transparency, chargeability and cleanability and stability of image density, and to provide a manufacturing method for the toner. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the toner for developing electrostatic charge images containing resin, and a coloring agent, consisting of a coloring agent compound contains a coloring agent producing process for producing the coloring agent compound as a coloring agent precursor and reaction products of a metal contained compound, by obtaining a mixture consisting of the resin and a coloring agent compound precursor, heating to mix the mixture and the metal-containing compound, and reacting the coloring agent compound precursor constituting the mixture with the metal-containing compound.
