Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mass productivity by curtailing a molding cycle consisting of a filling process, a pressure molding process, and a pulling-out process. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing sintered components comprises: filling the raw material prepared by adding 40 to 60 vol% of a binder composed of a thermoplastic resin and wax to metal powder and heating and kneading the mixture into a die cavity of a plunger die; pressure molding the mixture to a desired shape; pulling the pressurized molding out of the plunger die; heating the molding to remove the binder; and then heating the molding to sinter the molding. In the method, the moving speed U of a punch during pressure molding is set at that determined by [U=ΔP/(32 μ×L)×De2] or below when ΔP is defined as the pressurizing force (Pa) of the punch, μ as a viscosity (Pa s), L as a length (m), and De as an equivalent pipe diameter (m).
