INSTRUMENT PANEL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel device capable of effectively using an internal space and an upper space of an instrument panel without causing any problem such as degradation of the visibility in the front view of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The instrument panel device of an automobile comprises an instrument panel body 1 arranged in a front part of a cabin, a display indication portion 5 for displaying information related to on-vehicle apparatuses. By connecting a center console part 2 to a center portion in the vehicle width direction of the instrument panel body 1, an instrument-panel backwardly inclined surface part is formed, in which the center portion in the vehicle width direction is located most backwardly. An instrument panel raised part 23 is formed on an upper surface part 7 of the instrument panel body 1, in which a part from the center portion in the vehicle width direction to an end on a driver's seat side is raised upwardly. Further, a stepped part 23 extending downwardly from its rear end is formed, and the display indication portion 5 is arranged on an inclined part 23b of the stepped part 23, which is located on the front side of the center console part 2 to direct the driver's seat side.
