EMULSIFICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsification device in which (1) emulsion droplets can be made fine in diameter without the reduction of a channel width, which may cause degradation of productivity, and (2) the disperse phase can be prevented from sticking to the channel to permit longer time use while providing uniform emulsion particles in the emulsification device for mixing two kinds of liquid which are indissoluble to each other. SOLUTION: The emulsification device comprises: a channel 211 for first liquid; a channel 210 for second liquid for second liquid; and a mixing channel 304 for combining the first liquid with the second liquid. In the mixing channel 304, the first liquid has a swirling component with respect to the mainstream direction, the channel of the second liquid is connected to the central part of the mixing channel, and the second liquid flows at the swirling central part of the swirling first liquid.
