Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification of a configuration of an assembly device and a process of assembly work after achieving automation of assembly work in a rotor assembly device and a rotor assembly method respectively for inserting a motor rotor into a rotor housing in order to connect it to a crankshaft of an engine. SOLUTION: A rotor assembly device 1 is provided with a rotor support member 5, a rotor positioning member 9, a temporary fixing bolt 7, and a fastening mechanism 8A. A rotor assembly method is configured as follows. Positioning between the rotor support member 5 and a rotor R is executed by the rotor positioning member 9. The rotor support member and the rotor are temporarily fixed by the temporary fixing bolt 7. The rotor R is inserted into a rotor housing H in that state. Before fully inserting the rotor R into the rotor housing H, temporary fixing by the temporary fixing bolt 7 is released and the rotor R is put into a floating state inside the rotor housing H by a biasing force of the fastening mechanism 8A.
