Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, capable of stably providing image of high image quality by reducing the effect of heat. SOLUTION: For each of colors, emitting inorganic polarizing plates 32-34 and emitting optical compensation plates 42, 44 and 46 are fixed respectively to polarizing plate fixing plates 51-53, and a fixing part provided in an upper part in each polarizing plate fixing plate is fixed and disposed in a state in which it is sandwiched between each LCD mounting plate and an LCD fixing angle 50. The polarizing plate fixing plate 51 has an opening part 511 for passing light in a center portion thereof, and the emitting inorganic polarizing plate 32 is fixed to one surface of the polarizing plate fixing plate 51. On the other hand, the emitting optical compensation plate 42 is disposed on the other surface side of the polarizing fixing plate 51 in a point contact state therewith at a distance from the emitting inorganic polarizing plate 32.
