KARIN OR MARUMERO CLEANING LIQUID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a safe cleaning liquid giving mild action to the skin of hands and friendly to the natural environment at a low production cost by using fruit of natural Karin (Chaenomeles sinensis) or Marumero (Cydonia oblonga) as a raw material, and widely usable for the cleaning and polishing of metallic goods such as stainless steel and aluminum ware, ceramic goods, glass wares, wood articles, the leather products. SOLUTION: The cleaning liquid is produced by slicing a fruit of Karin or Marumero to several millimeter thick, sufficiently drying by exposing to the sun for definite days, immersing the material for 2 to several days in warm water obtained by cooling boiled water to a specified temperature, and removing residues from the immersion liquid. Alternatively, the liquid is produced by boiling the thinly sliced and dried fruit of Karin or Marumero for a definite time, leaving to stand for a definite period and removing the residues.
