PLATEN, RECORDER WITH PLATEN, AND LIQUID INJECTION APPARATUS WITH PLATEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platen which prevents a recording medium from floating up and enables high quality four side margin-less recording, and also to provide a recorder and a liquid injection apparatus each provided with the platen. SOLUTION: The platen 163 is characterized in that a horizontal groove 165a for discarding ink droplets is formed on the upstream side in a direction to transfer recording paper 300, and that a plurality of suction holes 167 for suppressing floating the recording paper 300 is provided on the downstream side. Hence, ink droplets discarded in recording the recording paper 300 without margins at the four sides are stored in a horizontal groove 165a, and further, the recording paper 300 is prevented from floating by means of a plurality of the suction holes 167 provided on the downstream side in the feed direction, so that high quality recording is obtained by preventing uneven recording or dirt from generating even when four side margin-less printing is made on the recording paper 300.
