Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for purifying an exhaust gas which is capable of preventing the deterioration of purification performance due to the reduction or coagulation of palladium (Pd), and which can be manufactured with a simple step in the exhaust gas purification catalyst having palladium supported thereon. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the catalyst for the purification of the exhaust gas having palladium supported on the carrier comprises a first step of supporting palladium on the catalyst carrier 10, a second step of calcining the catalyst carrier 10 having palladium supported thereon at least for one hour at a temperature of from 600°C or more to 800°C in atmospheric air.
