DISTAL END HOOD WITH TREATMENT INSTRUMENT RAISING DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distal end hood with a treatment instrument raising device for endoscopes capable of advancing/retracting a treatment instrument with a small operating capacity by controlling the projecting direction of the treatment instrument even in general-purpose endoscopes incorporating no operation wire for actuating a treatment instrument raising base. SOLUTION: The treatment instrument raising base 22 for changing the direction of the distal end of the treatment instrument 100 projecting forward from a treatment instrument projecting port 14o formed at the distal end face of an insertion section 11, is disposed in the inner peripheral section of a distal end hood tube 21 slidably in the longitudinal direction, the operation wire 23 for slidingly actuating the treatment instrument raising base 22 is disposed outside the insertion section 11, and the operation wire 23 is advancingly/retractingly operated from the proximal end side of the insertion section 11 so as to slide the treatment instrument raising base 22 in the longitudinal direction in the inner peripheral section of the distal end hood tube 21 and control the projecting direction of the distal end portion of the treatment instrument 100.
