Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosion-proof enclosure monitoring apparatus which is small-sized and lightweight, improves portability and easily changes the place to be monitored. SOLUTION: A monitoring apparatus includes: an explosion-proof enclosure 18 having an explosion-proof enclosure structure; a microphone 20 incorporated in the explosion-proof enclosure 18 for detecting acoustics in a facility to be monitored; a camera 22 incorporated in the explosion-proof enclosure 18 for capturing an image in the facility to be monitored; an information processor 24 incorporated in the explosion-proof enclosure 18 for processing acoustic data from the microphone 20 and image data from the camera 22 and controlling the microphone 20 and the camera 22; radio equipment 26 for transmitting the acoustic data and the image data processed by the information processor 24 and receiving control signals of the microphone 20 and the camera 22; and an antenna 28 incorporated in the explosion-proof enclosure 18 and connected to the radio equipment 26.
