PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive disk device having a shield plate easily attached or detached, which includes a dustproof function, and prevents noise. SOLUTION: A pair of front and rear hook parts 28 are provided protrusively and integrally with one side plate 2A of a loader chassis 2 with a predetermined gap while facing a shield plate 22 covering a rear side rather than a cross beam 12 of an open upper plane of the loader chassis 2. A pair of engaging frames 29 detachably engaging with each hook part 28 along right and left directions (e), (f) are provided protrusively and integrally with one side edge of the shield plate 22. A lateral long hole 34 detachably engaging with a first projection part 32 provided protrusively and integrally with the one side plate 2A of the loader chassis 2 is pierced at one side edge of the shield plate 22 along the right and left directions (e), (f). A vertically long hole 39 detachably engaging with a second projection part 37 provided protrusively and integrally with the other side plate 2B of the loader chassis 2 is pierced at the other side edge of the shield plate 22 along right and left directions (a), (b). A screw 45 is screwed into a screw hole formed at the other side plate 2B of the loader chassis 2 through a screw insertion hole pierced at the other side edge of the shield plate 22.
