PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a user with information that the user wants to know. SOLUTION: This information provision system governs a prescribed jurisdiction area and provides information to each user present within the jurisdiction area. An information generating part (an information generating part 155 for each customer) generates providing information (providing information data for each customer) to be provided to a user on the basis of clue data (operation history data) stored by a clue storing part (an operation history storing part 143) about a user identified by identification information (user identification data) input by an identification inputting part. When the user moves to a moving destination jurisdiction area different from the jurisdiction area, a clue transmitting part (an operation history transmitting part 144) transmits the clue data stored by the clue storing part about the user moving to the moving destination jurisdiction area to another information provision system for governing the moving destination jurisdiction area.
