PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal needing complicate operation capable of easily inputting information and improving its operability. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set 1 includes an acceleration sensor 70 for detecting the linear displacement or rotational displacement of a portable terminal, and a control part 10 recognizes the displacement pattern of the portable telephone set 1 base on the detection data detected by an acceleration sensor 70, and makes a display part 40 display one or more comments corresponding to the recognized displacement pattern by referring to an attribute table T1 and a comment table T2 stored in a storage part 20, and inputs the comments selected by an operation part 50 as the text of electronic mail.
