Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an oil return means in a displacement compressor. SOLUTION: This displacement compressor includes the oil return means returning oil poured from an oil storage portion 125 storing oil into a compression chamber 100 compressing working fluid, separately from the working fluid after compression to the oil storage portion. The oil return means has an oil return chamber 95 temporarily storing separated oil led from an oil separation means, and a float valve element 70ab composed of a hollow float 70a and a float valve portion 70b respectively floating on accumulated oil in the oil return chamber, accumulated on the bottom of the oil return chamber. The float valve element 70ab opens/closes a float hole 70c connected to an oil return passage 80 allowing the oil return chamber to communicate with the oil storage portion. The hollow float 70a is formed with a float pressure equalizing passage 70a2 allowing a hollow portion to communicate with a working fluid area in the oil return chamber. Thereby, it is possible to eliminate differential pressure between the hollow portion and the working fluid area in the oil return chamber and there is no more requirement to consider pressure-resistant design.
