Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display, and its manufacturing method reduced in cathode wiring resistivity. SOLUTION: The organic EL display is provided with first electrodes 6 formed in a stripe shape on a support substrate 2, organic EL layers 10, second electrodes 12 arranged in a stripe shape so as to cross the first electrodes 6 on the organic EL layers 10, respectively, pixel separation films 8 covering parts other than those where the first electrodes 6 cross the second electrodes 12 among faces on the first electrodes 6 and the organic EL layers 10, and second electrode separation barrier ribs 22 arranged in parallel to the second electrodes 12 on the pixel separation films 8 to separate the second electrodes, having a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the second electrodes 12 and at least with a part of the structure to be conductive. Metal 26 is deposited at least on two sites or more at one of the two gaps formed between each of the second electrode and the second electrode separation barrier rib 22 pinching each two second electrodes 12 from both sides, so that the second electrode and the second electrode separation barrier rib are in point-contact with each other.
