Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of processing for assigning a title representing an image group. SOLUTION: An image group title assigning device 1 is comprised of: a title candidate assigning means 11 that assigns a plurality of title candidates to an image group having a plurality of images; a characteristic amount calculating means 11 that individually calculates the characteristic amounts of the plurality of images contained in the image group in association with the respective plurality of title candidates; and a title determining means 11 that determines a title representing the image group out of the title candidates in accordance with the characteristic amount of each image calculated for every title candidate.
