LUBRICANT COATING APPLICATOR, CLEANING DEVICE USING THE SAME AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant coating applicator capable of effectively preventing lowering of pressuring force even when the amount of lubricant is decreased with lapse of time, maintaining stable lubricant coating amount from initial time of operation to the final lifetime and complying with various design requirements. SOLUTION: The lubricant coating applicator includes the lubricant, a lubricant coating member for applying the lubricant to an image carrier and a pressuring means for bringing the lubricant into press-contact with the lubricant coating member. The pressuring means includes a lubricant supporting member for supporting the lubricant, a fulcrum member provided at least above the lowermost surface of the lubricant coating member in a gravity direction, and a load member connected to the lubricant supporting member by a connection member through the fulcrum member. The lubricant supported by the lubricant supporting member is brought into press-contact with the lubricant coating member from below by action of the gravity of the load member.
