Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of improving NOx reduction efficiency, by uniformly distributively making a reducing agent flow in the whole inlet surface of a reducing catalyst, by improving the partial presence of a flow of exhaust gas in a front face of the reducing catalyst. SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device of the internal combustion engine is provided for reducing and removing nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas by using the reducing agent by the reducing catalyst, by injecting the reducing agent from a reducing agent injection part on the exhaust upstream side of the reducing catalyst provided in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine. A tapered part for gradually increasing the cross-sectional area in the flowing direction of the exhaust gas, is arranged in the exhaust passage on the exhaust upstream side of the reducing catalyst, and an opening part for introducing the reducing agent is arranged on an inner peripheral surface of the exhaust passage on the upstream side of the tapered part, and an exhaust flow separation part composed of a predetermined step height is arranged in an inlet part of the tapered part.
