REFLECTOR FOR ROAD AND ITS MOUNTING FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector for a road and its mounting frame which can be easily and firmly fitted without projecting upward from a guardrail. SOLUTION: The reflector for the road is to be fitted to the guardrail having a plurality of vertical struts each of which includes right and left strut components forming a slit-like clearance, and horizontal rods arranged between the vertical struts. The reflector for the road includes the mounting frame which is formed fittable to the clearance, and reflecting plates fitted into plate fitting recesses formed in front and rear faces of the mounting frame, respectively. The mounting frame is formed of an elastic material composed mainly of organic polymers and having a predetermined hardness. The right and left side faces of the mounting frame are formed to be recessed faces corresponding to draft angles of the right and left strut components of each of the vertical struts made of cast metal.
