SOLUTION: The method for producing the polymer having a structural unit represented by general formula (1) includes a process (A) for adding a superacid to a compound represented by a general formula (2), wherein m is 0, 1 or 2, to perform a polymerization reaction, and a process (B) for adding a nucleophilic solvent to stop the polymerization reaction.
