Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for production by which deterioration of a catalyst caused by an excessive reaction of reaction raw materials, and sublimation of a molybdenum component composing the catalyst in the presence of steam are suppressed without lowering the yield and selectivity etc., for the objective reaction product in the method for production comprising subjecting a reaction raw material gas to a catalytic vapor-phase oxidation with an oxygen-containing gas, and producing the reaction product by using a fixed bed type reactor having the catalyst comprising molybdenum. SOLUTION: The method for production comprises subjecting the reaction raw material gas to the catalytic vapor-phase oxidation reaction with the oxygen-containing gas in the presence of the steam, and producing the reaction product by using the fixed bed type reactor having the catalyst comprising the molybdenum. The method for production is characterized by starting the feed of the steam so as to provide ≥2.0 kPa steam partial pressure in the whole gas fed to the reactor, and subsequently starting the feed of the reaction raw material gas when starting up the reactor.
